Centennial Celebration
Established in 1910, Christ Lutheran Church of Eagan, Minnesota is celebrating 100 years of service to Christ and His community. In September we had a weekend filled with great celebration.
"Christ or Caricature" - by Dr. Maier
On Saturday, September 11, Christ Lutheran Church of Eagan hosted Dr. Paul Maier of Western Michigan University. Dr. Maier presented, "Christ or Caricature". At a time when the broadcast media, books like The Da Vinci Code, and our newsmagazines offer caricatures of Christ, Dr. Maier's genuine portrait becomes even more clear with new evidence from history and archaeology.
Sunday Worhsip and Banquet
On Sunday, September 12, we celebrated 100 years of "God's Grace in This Place" at our Sunday worship service at 10:00 AM. We had a wonderful celebration service. There was special music that morning and Dr. Paul Maier, of Wester Michigan University, lead us in worhship.
Following the service we continued our celebration in fellowship together at the Eagan Community Center with a buffet lunch and music provided by Christ Lutheran's gifted pianist Alex Metzeritski, and violinist Gauson.
