The Church Council is seeking volunteers to be part of a committee to examine and propose changes to the Constitution and ByLaws. This informal group will report to the Church Council recommendations for changes to both the Constitution and the By-Laws. After Church Council consideration, the changes recommended may proceed through the approval process as outlined in the Constitution and By-Laws. If you would like to participate on the committee or have suggestions, please contact Kelly Callahan or let Pastor Hahn know.

The Trustees are looking for volunteers to help mow the church grounds. With enough helpers, each person may only have to mow about 4 times during the season. Most of the mowing is done with a large lawn tractor. Contact Jeff Aldinger for more info or to sign up to help

There are still opportunities for members to serve the Lord as board volunteers in 2015. Â Almost all of our boards have openings, so please ask a current board member or staff person about what might fit you best. Â Today we will focus on the activities of our Elders and Evangelism board.
Elders at Christ Lutheran Church assist the pastors in concern over the general spiritual welfare of the congregation. Â They supply constant encouragement and seek to stimulate a high level of spirituality in the congregation through setting an example of Christian living and establishing communication with all members to promote strengthening of faith, cultivating a constant spirit of harmony and encouraging the use of the Word and Sacraments by members.
In addition, they are responsible, along with the pastor, of the administration of services at Christ Lutheran.
The Board of Evangelism at Christ Lutheran Church implements ministries designed to bring the Gospel to the unchurched through the use of personal witness and other means of communication to further the Word. Â (They administer this website!) Â They are also responsible for the integration of visitors and new members into the life and work of the congregation.
